If you’re curious about what kind of stuff we’re talking about this week, you’ve come to the right place! Use the handy post below to follow along and watch all of the trailers with us. It’ll be like we’re in the exact same room, just not exactly. Anyway, here goes:
All Access: Mayweather vs. McGregor (Showtime – Friday, July 28)
Sure, you know Conor McGregor is fighting Floyd Mayweather soon, but did you know there’s also a Showtime documentary series about it? Do you care about either of those things? Probably not, but we figured we’d throw it out there anyway.
Room 104 (HBO – Friday, July 28)
What’s Room 104 about? It’s about a motel room. Room number 104, to be exact. It’s also about the weird and unusual things that happen to a rotating cast of characters in that room. The Duplass brothers, who also brought you the fantastic horror film Creep, are behind this so it should be a fun watch. Watch it!
Rick and Morty Season 3 (Adult Swim – Sunday, July 30)
Do you have friends who watch Rick and Morty? If you do, you absolutely know it, because those people likely never stop talking about this show. Season three starts this week. Hooray!
If you aren’t excited to see Atomic Blonde, fuck you.
This looks weird as shit. We’re so very in. Kyle Mooney is a national treasure who deserves way more attention than he gets. Maybe this movie will fix that.
An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power
Look who finally came out of hiding! Just 17 short years after running one of the shittiest presidential campaigns of all-time, Al Gore returns to remind us that he really cares about the environment, but not enough to run for president again over it or anything.
In addition to all of this, we also talk about new music from Arcade Fire, Alice Cooper, and Manchester Orchestra. This show has it all! Listen now!
