Hey! You know The Coathangers, right? You should! They were co-number one on our top albums of 2016 list. They’re also one of Adam’s favorite bands in the whole entire world. And now we’re talking to them on this podcast! Listen to it right damn now!

Adam and Chet were damn lucky to get to chat with Julia Kugel, lead guitarist and co-lead vocalist, while the band was driving through Texas.
Adam fanboys it up and runs out of words. Chet goes on at length about the band Fastball. It’s everything you’ve come to expect from this show.
See The Coathangers!
If you’re in the Los Angeles area and wanted to see the band this Friday at Resident but were bummed to find that the show is sold out, don’t despair. Instead, take a drive to Santa Ana tonight and see them at the Constellation Room. It’s a neat venue. You could do a lot worse. Make the drive, lazy bones. It’s either that or San Diego on Saturday. That’s even more of a drive. Goddamn fantastic fish tacos in that city, though. Again, you could do a lot worse.
Hear The Coathangers!
After you do all that, head to your music dispensary of choice and give their most recent album, Nosebleed Weekend, a good listening to. We didn’t name it as our number one album of the year for nothing. It’s a delight. Get it in your life right now. Then track down all of their other albums after that. They only have five, it’s not like you have to quit your job to listen to them all or anything. Why are you being so difficult about this right now?
Oh! And here’s a video of them playing a new song!
Okay, that’s all we got for now. Go listen to the podcast. Thanks! We love you!
